On the occasion of the Sigep in Rimini , the world´s most important expo for the Artisan Production of Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery where you can find international contests and championships, demos, courses and updating seminars and expos , I will do a demonstration the 17 th of january by the Cake Design Saloon for the SARACINO company ( that is the brand of the paste I use for my figures ) .
They asked me a theme… very quickly . Honestly I hadn’t any idea . It was the day before the Christmas Holidays and my mind was full of balls , gifts, lights …. wow … what kind of cake could I realize ??? …. St Valentine ?!? Nooo , it isn’t up to my potential … so I said ." Carnival"!! … Ok , Carnival , be it so ! I hung up and after 60 seconds thought ………… OMG I HATE CARNIVAL !!!! .
Ok , there is no problem , my daughter of 9 years will help me as usual !! She will do it endeed .. This year she told me that she wanted the costume of Cleopatra, so I developed a cake around this theme . This is an advance of what I’ ll do during the demonstration ! I hope you like it .
