I had much love creating this cake for a special little 5 year old. It brought back memories when I was a little girl born in the 80’s watching The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my older brother.

Originally had a full fondant/tylo sewer lid, but with the humity in Australia at the moment… that didnt work so opted for a covered cake round instead.

The cake itself is Dark chocolate mud cake, milk chocolate filling with crushed maltesers and a milk chocolate ganache shell. I use milk chocolate ganache on all my kids cakes that use ganache and kids sometimes feel dark chocolate is a little strong.
