This winter bridal shower cake was covered with sanding sugar with a fabric ribbon around the base, and a textured fondant heart on top with a random sprinkling of tiny pearls. My first attempt at covering a cake with sugar or sprinkles. Though the pictures are not great, I am pleased with how it turned out.
