‘Finding Cochise’. When I was young and went to the cinema to see a ‘Cowboy Film’ my dad would ask if ‘Cochise’ was in it, as he had his hair. He told me ‘Chief Cochise’ had scalped him, and this was why he was bald. I spent my childhood looking out for him but only saw ‘Geronimo’ and ‘Sitting Bull’. I never got the opportunity to make a cake for my dad, so this one I dedicated to him. This is me finding the ‘man himself’! Everything is hand made and hand painted. I had a very interesting and distracting time looking up Native American Indian history.
