Michael Kors handbag cake this cake was half madeira half chocolate so it was boarded in the middle to keep the two flavours separate and to give a bit more stability. The fondant was applied in panels which were given a leather effect and chilled in the fridge for a few minutes before being applied to the cake to minimise stretching.
