The client wanted quite a few elements on this cake so I decided to incorporate them in doodles which I drew free hand straight on the the cake. The lad is a film student specializing in travel and landscape so I included some stills of dramatic scenery and a few pics of him printed on edible icing. He is bare foot so I sketched his flip flops in. The lady was so pleased with the cake she gave me an extra £10. I really love it when people really appreciate you cakes and realize how much work you have put in.
