I was beyond excited about this cake, as the decor is right in my wheelhouse—-metallics & bling galore! And it was the largest tiered cake I had ever done. This was my first ever big glam cake, & I am so proud of the result!

From the top down: The top tier is vegan & gluten free dark chocolate cake with vanilla filling & icing, coated in glittery sanding sugar & trimmed with a rhinestone glam ribbon. This tier is sitting on a silver & crystal cake stand that I underlit with LED lights, & set upon a mirror to reflect even more light & glitter.

The second tier down is Pecan Pie cake with Pecan Pie Filling, dark chocolate ganache, & it is covered in real edible gold leaf. The third tier down is Caramel Apple Cake with Caramel Buttercream filling & cinnamon caramel ganache. It is decorated with two styles of rhinestone glam ribbons. The fourth tier down is Almond Amaretto cake with Bavarian Cream buttercream filling, white chocolate ganache, & coated in sequin sprinkles painted gold. The bottom tier is a dummy cake, completely wrapped in rhinestone glam ribbon. Gumpaste fantasy peonies with glitter centers.

It was difficult to get good pictures as the venue was outside at night & there were lights on the wooden fence behind the cake. The pictures with the flash show the lovely contrast of the silver & gold, & the pictures without the flash show the lighted cake stand off beautifully. I included a picture of me with the cake to show the scale. I’m so proud of this one & I hope you love it as much as I loved creating it!
