I could not believe my ears back in the summer when I heard myself agreeing to a Minion request! In the same week I also agreed to a friggin’ Frozen cake .. so I’m afraid there is more torment for you to come (but not until Christmas).

‘Stewart’ and ‘Dave’ – Despicable Me. Some fun for Rod’s daughter and son in law who finally moved into their marital nest … aahhh ♥. Emma had requested a Minion cake and I knew exactly which occasion I would make it for. This had to have a last minute ‘design reshuffle’ (you know how it is!) and so Evil Minion (who had been going to be a troll under the Clifton Suspension Bridge) became a passenger in what had been going to be an eco-friendly Fred Flinstone style cart crossing the bridge. (Emma and Tom are eco-fanatics with a life-time ambition to save the planet.)

So instead instead of a bridge we have an upside-down box with spilled ‘bannannas’ as y’all know how they say it! The box is two cakes – fruit cake lower and victoria sponge upper. The two minions are fruit cake. the other decorations are marzipan (Emma’s addiction!).

They loved it either way it was going to be presented :) … although I would have liked more time to give Evil more wild hair!
