This is the most unique cake I have done so far – an old fashioned Coca Cola bottle with a Kilt on and a thistle and rose – very personal to the lucky lady who birthday it was . Lots of layers of Madagascan Vanilla sponge cake with vanilla butter cream and strawberry jam.

I worked on this cake over 2 days – the most difficult part was trying to get the shape of the bottle even on all sides and this alone took a good few hours. The cake is all hand painted with edible colours, glazed and finally I added some piping gel for that just out of the fridge look. The Kilt is an edible icing sheet :-D thanks for looking x
