This is a cake was extremely honoured to make last year. It was made for a gentleman who had been part of the flight crew on board the Lancastrian. I was equally honoured when the gentleman called me to say how accurate my cake was to his actual plane and that he hadn’t been able to bring himself to cut it up, he had it in pride of place in his house :-) :-)

The whole plane is edible, the fusillade was sculpted from a vanilla madeira cake and the wings were sculpted sugarpaste, all the decorations are hand sculpted. Thank you for looking at my cake :-)
