This cake was a first for me. Normally I print images, trace them and then go over in edible ink. However the printer was being absolute pants and wouldn’t co – operate so I had to free – hand draw the lion. The recipient of this cake does not like excessive amounts of frosting so I drew the lion onto a very thin sheet of Renshaws white chocolate fondant, underneath is carrot cake with a very thin layer of frosting. Next stop 3D – but first some practice.
Well done and also for thinking on your feet. Painting is not scary as one thinks. I’ve advocated for many years that we are all artists and all we need to do is tap into it. The rest is practise. Hope to see some 3D painting from you too…. XXXX

Hi Danijela…the white chocolate fondant dries quickly once it is opened but it a nice touch for cakes taste wise.
