The request was for a sprint and summertime cake. The cake were simple chocolate and almond cakes, with diff methods of buttercream ruffles. I used roses and fillers for the springtime cake and gerberas and fillers for the summertime cake. The flowers were made with gumpaste. I use Nicholas Lodges gumpaste recipe, works superbly for me and the climate at my place.
