I got a call this morning for an urgent carrot cake with a beach theme for a tourist staying on Island. Glad that they found me and happy that my cake studio is just off my office so that I could work and decorate. I was sort of caught on how to describe my decorating business because it is not home based, but it is not full time and I can do it during work hours since I work for myself, so I am going to call myself an office baker.
Butter cream finish with fondant accents, baked and decorated the same day.

Thanks Caymancake, that sounds much better than an office baker! They actually asked if I had something laying around, I said, “no I only bake when I have orders”. I think that they were happy with the freshly baked option. This the week for carrot cakes in Cayman:0)
