I made these for a little boy that was turning 1. Needles to say.. He loves sesame street, especially Bert and Ernie! So I decided to make Bert and Ernie heads for the cake pops. I used the marshmallow fondant that I make for all my cakes and added the accents of their eyes noise and mouths asking with the collar of their shirts. I think that part is what really set it off.. They looked rather dull and like something was missing until I added the shirt collars. They were super fun to make and I even made matching cookies!
