I’ve been wanting to make a castle wedding cake for some time but never had the confidence. Then a tutorial came up on the Paul Bradford site by the fab Emma Ball from Ricard’s cakes so I decided to give it a go. Slightly tweaked certain things but kept most of the design the same. It’s a big cake! The last photo was taken in my cakey room to give you an idea of scale. Just loved making this cake.
The first two tiers are 6" tall. This was all made from dummy cakes for a wedding fair I’m exhibiting at. Turrets made from sugarpaste with a dowel through. Emma made it look so easy so hence why I made it!
Thanks for looking.
