A 60th Birthday Party for a Doctor who loves Poker! Full Dessert table with custom cookies, and edible playing cards on every cupcake (Royal flush). The cake is sculpted (all cake) with fondant lab coat and gum paste details. Flowers, custom linen and macaron towers and fruit platters all provided by Angel Cakes Bakery. The playing card transfers were my first experience with this decorating medium….very time consuming, but worth the effort. I made the cards from gum paste, let them dry for several days and then added the transfer, trimmed the excess with scissors! Lots of fun to set up and see everyone’s reaction, the party was for 200+ guests.
