I loved creating this cake. I don’t know why I enjoyed this one so much. I think its because I absolutely love using modeling chocolate on cakes. On this cake I used Lauren Kitchens method of taking a square modeling chocolate piece- scraping along where I thought the lines would go and then when hard from sitting in the fridge I made yellow buttercream and covered the square with it- wiped it off and out came this effect. It looks much better than just pipping yellow all over the cake. This was a last minute order so I wasn’t able to make more parts of the circuit board but I was thrilled with the result of this one. I think this is my favorite cake so far. ( though frozen isn’t far behind).
