Made as a request for Elyssia on her 10th Birthday. All chocolate 8" 6". I was sent a photo asking whether I could recreate….I didn’t like the cake in the photo!!! There seemed to be too much and the feathers and heart burst looked like they were plonked any old way into the cake…so I said yes and did my best to do better. As a qualified florist I know something about movement so used the feathers to create it and to draw your eye from the top to the bottom with the focal photo of the boys in the middle of the cake. With less to see scattered around I think I did a good job. Less is more as they say. What do you think. Have attached the picture of the photo I was sent so you can compare….am I blowing my own trumpet? Would love to know what you think x
