I made this cake for a husband who wanted to give his wife a sweet surprise on their first wedding anniversary. The design is based upon their wedding cake. A simple vanilla bean sponge with raspberry conserve and buttercream, finished in ivory fondant with handmade wafer paper flowers. :).
