This is my second wedding cake and I am super proud of it. I have been baking coming up to a year in a few weeks time. I was really nervous about doing this cake but the bride had all faith in me. Phew!!! It is a 10" Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream an 8" chocolate sponge filled and covered in chocolate ganache and a 6" lemon sponge with lemon buttercream. The roses are handmade from flower paste only my 3rd attempt at making flowers. The top tier is piped royal icing dots, plain middle tier wirh elegant bow and claire bowman victoriana cake lace used on the bottom tier.
The bride & groom loved their cake and I got fantastic feedback from her. I am so happy wirh the way the cake turned out
