It’s wonderful to design a cake for a bride who is open to suggestion – especially when those suggestions are totally different than any of their original cake ideas. The lovely Emma was totally on board with going for a wedding cake to match her colour scheme. And I’m not just talking about a white cake with coloured ribbon or flowers. I have to admit to being INCREDIBLY nervous that she wouldn’t love the finished product as much as I did. Add to that the pressure of pulling off a fruit cake to match her mum’s legendary recipe and you’ve got yourself one anxious baker!

However I needn’t have worried.

“…the cake looked fabulous and tasted amazing! Everyone commented on it too. It was just how I imagined it and the colour was perfect…”
