I designed this cake for a friend who recently landed her dream job at Land O’Lakes in the dairy/cattle feed division. She grew up on a ranch, got a degree in agriculture, and has loved cows her whole life. She even used to show cows at fairs!

Her husband wanted the cake to have a dairy cow pattern and a pink bow. I decided to make the cake into an old fashioned milk jug to give it an interesting shape and further emphasize the dairy theme. I applied black fondant “splotches” and wrapped an over-sized pink bow around the neck. I love how it turned out!
