This cake was a delight to make and an absolute wonderful change from cupcakes. The base tier was chocolate truffle, the middle cherry Bakewell and the top tier vanilla.

The cake is going to a real life castle, Thornbury Castle, where Obama was rumoured to have stayed on his recent trip to the UK.

Emma and Scott the bride and groom are fans of Game of Thrones and anything with a horror theme, and the whole wedding will have a Game of Thrones theme running though it, hence The Heart Tree on the top of the cake.
