I was lucky enough to be asked to be involved in the Cake Dahls collaboration in Dublin this weekend. We had to choose a Roald Dahl character to be put on display in the Ark Gallery. I chose Goldilocks from Revolting Rhymes. Here she is, after she had broken baby bear’s chair. I based it on Quentin Blake’s illustration of the brat Goldilocks. It was displayed with pieces by over 50 cakers from around Ireland. We were given a special licence to reproduce their characters. To say the weekend was successful is an understatement. The best bit had to be the kids reactions.
