This was the second time I made this cake and it turned out much better than the first attempt – mainly with thanks to the introduction of chocolate ganache so no bumpy sides!

It is two 4" cakes stacked on top of each other so doesn’t offer that many servings but I felt that this size would look the best proportion wise.
