Having originally planned to “cheat” and use an edible image for the face of the watch my customer later decided to specify a time that she wanted displayed on the watch ! As I could not find an image that suited I ended up hand painting the entire face.

I am still unable to find a white “paint” that doesn’t look chalky, I use a white dust mixed with alcohol, I’m not a painting expert so expect it is something I am doing wrong!

I covered the watch in grey sugar paste and then used PME pearl spray as 1.) I much prefer the silver it gives as opposed to silver paint and 2.) I love the smell of it !
