I was asked to do a cake for a Jack Daniels themed 40th birthday party. After doing some searching around, I saw that most of the JD cakes are the classic bottle of Jack. Since that kind of cake was not in the budget, I decided to go with a cake/cupcake tower inspired by some cupcake wrappers I found on Etsy (EZ Party Printables). This allowed me to try working with black fondant for the first time (hats off to those of you who pull it off flawlessly!) and painting on a cake.
