When I spoke with Emily (aged 10) about her little sisters 5th birthday cake, she recalled the castle cake that I did for her 5th birthday and thought that it would be nice to do a similar cake for Louisa. She then added, “only this time it will be better because you have got better!” You have to love her for that. The turrets are all hollow, made from pastillage and the tiling did not get any less time consuming 2nd time around lol
