This cake was for a dear friend’s older sister, and was the most time consuming – yet pleasing – cake I have ever made. Kate and Aaron (bride and groom) were exact miniatures of themselves – down to the painted detail on Aaron’s waistcoat and Kate’s pearl & silver necklace. The sugar flowers matched Kate’s bouquet, the ribbon matched the bridesmaid’s dresses and the silver tiers matched the table decorations.
