This was made for a keen yacht enthusiast. It took about 5KG of chocolate cake to construct this huge cake, three of us to lift the icing on to it and I engaged the help of a carpenter to make the board for the cake to sit on and a building surveyor (my other half) to help me get it to scale and make the mast and sails
The cake was roughly 25" long and reached halfway up my kitchen wall from the worktop.
It was delivered to Medway Yacht Club in Kent
