A smaller version of my Cake International Silver awarded cake for Katie’s wedding.
Katie originally wanted something simple but then met me at a wedding fair and decided to have this design instead.
She shares my love of peacocks and this cake was set to be a pleasure to make……
That was until humidity took over…. a day of stress, tears and panic…. resulting in a friend dashing her dehumidifier over to remove the moisture from my cake room!

An hour or so later and the cake looked less like a soggy mess and more the pretty cake I had envisioned…..
Phew!!!
There were three little cats hiding in the feathers as Katie has three cats she adores!
The poem on the back was a surprise for Katie to remember her Nanny who she lost only a few short months before her wedding day xxx
