My friend asked me to do a wedding cake with deep red roses and ribbon to match her bridesmaid’s dresses. She said she didn’t want any bling but apart from that she’d leave it up to me, oh gosh!

Well this is the result, there are some things I would have done differently on reflection but the bride and groom loved it, and that’s what matters.

Three figurines on top, bride, groom and their little boy, I need to practise, the first bride looked more like Fiona from Shrek lol!

Four tiers, Caribbean rum fruit cake, vanilla sponge with vanilla cream cheese, lemon with lemon cream cheese and my favourite nigella chocolate cake.
