Well, here it is, my birthday cake! :)
The inspiration for this cake is from the amazing artist and instructor Marina Sousa from ‘Just Cake’ who I really love her work.
First time working with Isomalt (sugar substitute) and loved it! There are endless possibilities once working with isomalt, this time I went for the diamond-crystals on the cake.
The sugar flowers are Lilies and made out of gum-past. I used to teach making those flowers (in their traditional look) all the time, but this time I decided to give them a nice twist.
