This was another theme that was hard to do and stay orginal. This was a really fun cake to make, especially the tire. I covered the cake in black fondant, then rolled out an additional piece and used a plastic tire mold, I had picked up at my local cake decorating shop, to make the tire impression. I then wrapped it around the cake. For the top lines/groves, I just used a cake decorating tool, and went around the top and bottom of the tire and made little lines. Lightning McQueen is made out of rice cereal treats.
