This cake was made for a very special young lady who turned 21. Purple is her favorite color so I used fondant and three shades of purple to make the vintage flowers and ruffles. I was inspired by Sophie Bifield’s cakes (I really love her work). Accented with edible silver, silver and pearl dragees and molded buttons. All carrot cake with cream cheese filling and frosted in buttercream which is the birthday girl’s favorite too.
