Bob Ross is my favourite author and his books where always an inspiration for me to learn canvas painting.
I baked and decorated this beauty for a wonderful friend, though the cake was ordered by her husband I couldn’t resist myself in grabbing the reins from him for designing this cake. Painting being my favourite art it was a sheer pleasure working on this cake. This was a new experience for me because I have never attempted to paint such an art on cakes, though there are little miscalculations I had an accomplished feeling when I finished this cake.
It is a rich moist marble cake frosted and filled with Italian meringue butter cream, covered with fondant and painted using edible gel colours and decorated with gumpaste daisies.
