This is a recent cake we did for a Charity Auction. The little owl was made of Rice Krispie Treats and covered in buttercream and fondant. The tree stump is a 4 layer blue velvet cake with cream cheese icing, covered in fondant and hand painted to give it a more organic feel. He was a big hit at the auction and the person who took him home was very happy indeed.
