The Firetruck Cake – This is a project that gave me a nightmare. It was already 2AM and nothing made…I had one covered and even airbrushed but it’s just awful. So i removed the fondant cover, re-iced and I put the cake in the fridge and went to bed. I think it’s because this is the second cake this weekend and I’m already tired to start with.

Anyway, this morning, I took the iced carved cake from the fridge and started decorating to my heart’s content. Started at 7AM and finished at 1PM.

A lot of learning experience….at least next time, I get a request for this kind of cake, I know more.
