I made this cake using a Peggy Does Cake tutorial which was much easier to follow than I’d expected! I made the shoes the weekend before the cake was actually needed and am so glad I did as the night before it was due for collection I fell and broke my arm!!! So the upshot is that most of this cake was done one and a half handed, I was originally going to do the ruffles all over the bottom tier but really couldn’t manage any more but in the end I think this looked better – a little bit different!
