This cake is finished in butter cream with fondant accents and flowers. The fondant flowers are protea , roses and daffodils. I used a basket weave rolling pin to create the texture finish. I think that butter cream makes it easier to get a deep impression.

Thanks Cayman cake! I was a little nervous with this one as it was a cylinder rather than a flat mat, I was not sure that it was going to work.
