Just goes to show – no request too unusual for Tasty Bakes!

We were recently asked to make “Kunzle Showboats” – to appear in a BBC drama no less! Apparently production of these delicious goodies was ceased in the 1970’s, so it was a bit tricky to research what they actually consisted of!

Sponge cake, in a chocolate shell, covered with a delicious coloured buttercream, and topped with cherries, sweeties or leaves, and drizzled again with chocolate.

I thought they might be “a bit much”. but gosh they are good!! I’ll keep an eye out for when the TV program is on & will keep my eye out for Tasty Bakes’ appearance!
