Strawberry Delight

Five layers of soft, light and fluffy, strawberries and cream sponge with strawberry swiss meringue buttercream frosting- decorated with a heap of vanilla buttercream flowers and cute little fondant bee figures.
A whole load of love on a plate… :-)) xxx

This cake was made for an amazing husband to give to his beautiful wife for her birthday. They keep bees and sell honey and the tag on the honey jars they sell reads ‘from bee to you’ and hence I replicated it onto the cake, just to give it that personal touch :-))
Apparently she loves strawberries and doesn’t like anything too sweet. Tried to get it all into one cake..and was so pleased that I managed to do just that :-) x
