Tiers of trailing flowers, ‘LOVE’ was a key ingredient for this cake made to celebrate the wedding of a friend’s niece. Layers of vanilla butter sponge, raspberry conserve and white chocolate ganache for the twelve inch base cake. Zingy lemon citrus curd, buttercream and lemon sponge for the ten inch middle tier finished with a carrot cake sandwiched with a cream cheese and white chocolate ganache for the eight inch top tier. The characters are based on the work of the uber talented Carlos Lischetti whose book ‘Animation in Sugar’ is a must have for any serious baker!
