Thistles and roses on a two tier cake, for Margaret’s 60th birthday. Family wanted something Scottish themed, so tartan ribbon and thistles were used. I’d never made thistles before and couldn’t find a tutorial, so just had a go and ended up with these!! I did download lots of thistle pictures and just went from there, not too bad for a first attempt!!?? 😁
