I designed and made this cake for one of my best friend’s sister’s wedding in London yesterday. The cake is an enormous 12" fruit cake and is presented on an 18" board and was soooooo heavy.

I loved the Scrabble theme the bride and groom had chosen and felt inspired to replicate the scrabble board as accurately as possible to match their traditional board at home with wooden tiles. I had the scrabble board custom printed with tiles to match perfectly, I backed the edible image onto claret sugarpaste and the tiles onto teeny tiny brown squares.
