This is my first ever attempt at wired flowers. They are rested upon and sponge cake layered with Madagascan vanilla buttercream and raspberry conserve, covered in sugar paste and disguised as a ‘Trug’ basket with sugar paste handle.

Once I got the hang of the petals, I loved making the flowers and am looking forward to making many more.
