It was so lovely to design and design this cake for a lovely couple. They came to me with no real idea of what they were after but wanted something simple but still with a bit of impact. I decided just to make the colours of the cake do the talking and then added the roses in the pink , which were the same colour as the roses in the bouquet. I was initially just going to do three round tiers but changed my mind as I wanted the cake to be a little more unique so I added an octagon tier instead which I think worked really well.
