I was asked to make a cake for a fellow cake maker. She asked for elegant and pretty but I had other ideas …….. I did ask her if it was ok to have a free rein and she agreed :) The cake was cut from chocolate mud cake and filled with chocolate buttercream. I had such fun creating all the ‘mini’ kitchen tools and even filled the mixer with flour. I used egg yellow fondant and piping gel to recreate the raw eggs and skin coloured fondant for the eggs and shells. I hope you like it – my cake friend loved it!
