I love getting free reign to make a friends cake.
My friend Sharon is a huge fan of the Game of Thrones books, so I had to make a book cake for her. (My first G.O.T. Cake too)
It is her significant “40th” birthday as well so I had to sneak the age on the books spine.
I hand cut the wolf logo in fondant then painted in the details. The front wording is in royal icing and I embossed the cover and spine of the books to create a bit of a vintage feel.
