I was inspired by a cake I saw on Pinterest and thought I’d try a version of my own. Top tier Chocolate with choco-rum frosting, middle tier coconut with coconut frosting and homemade pineapple filling, bottom tier Caribbean rum fruit cake.
The middle tier is covered with fondant and then i used royal icing to glue what felt like a million flowers I had cut out sprayed pearlescent and dried over a few days.
Not easy to finish a day at work and then concentrate all over again, good job I have an understanding family :-)
For once I got to taste a cake I made, every tier, guess I’m going to have to dig deeper for tomorrow’s workout session!
